Academic Qualifications : Higher Secondary Passed in “West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education” / Its equivalent with 50% marks and 2 years Diploma course in Elementary Education.
Age : 18 to 40 years in 01/01/2012. Special Category also get age relaxation.
Exam procedure : 100 numbers written Examination i.e. Teachers Eligibility Test(TET),Interview.
Pay Scale : 5,400 to 25,200/- + Grade pay. 
Application Fee : Rs.100/- for general candidate & Rs.25/- for SC/ST.
